Tennessee Main Street Managers participated in the Tennessee Preservation Trust/Main Street Summit in Franklin last week. Attendees experienced first-hand how careful preservation, planning and promotion of historic assets can create an economically vibrant community. Guest speaker Edward McMahon, a nationally-renowned authority on sustainable development and supporter of the Main Street movement, encouraged Tennesseans to continue their work in downtown revitalization.
