Annual Events

May is Preservation Month
Various activities are offered throughout the month of May to celebrate Preservation Month. Area elementary schools and preschools are asked to participate in “Pennies for Preservation” where they will collect change throughout their school for the month of April. Funds collected will be used for Historic Church Markers.

During May, individuals and businesses in the historic district are selected for awards for their efforts in preservation. Certificates for schools and these individuals and businesses are presented during the Preservation Awards.

This year Main Street Collierville will have their first “Pork for Preservation” sale! You can order your smoked butts and pick them up just in time for Memorial Day on Thursday, May 24, and Friday, May 25.
