16th ANNUAL SUNSET ON THE SQUARE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Presented by Main Street Collierville
Title Sponsor- First Tennessee Bank

With attendance topping 2,800, the Sunset on the Square Summer Concert Series comes to an end Thursday, July 26, with the big band music of The Noble Sounds. The Noble Sounds is one of the few remaining big bands in the Memphis area. Their music repertoire includes favorites by such great orchestras as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Tommy Newsome, Ray Charles and Duke Ellington. They are the dance band section of the Al Chymia Shrine Temple's Brass Band Unit that was originally formed as a Drum and Bugle Corps Unit in 1910. They perform for numerous activities within the Shrine Organization and the community including the Annual Shrine Circus, the Memorial Day ceremonies at National Cemetery, and entertainment of shut-ins and residents of area nursing homes and/or retirement homes.

The concert is from 7-9 p.m. at the Confederate Park located at the corner of Mulberry and Main Streets in downtown Collierville. Remember to bring your lawn chair and pack a picnic or enjoy something from our many food vendors: Statewide Concessions, Page Robbins, Off the Grill, Main Street Concessions, Blue Coast Burrito, The Crepe Maker, and Domino's pizza at the Pepsi trailer.

Main Street Collierville along with Title Sponsor, First Tennessee, and co-sponsors Boyle Investments and Back Yard Burgers along with AIMS Logistics and the Collierville Community Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis and Community Sponsors which include Hart Properties, Baptist Memorial Hospital – Collierville, Pepsi Americas, YMCA Schilling Farms, Wal-Mart, Memphis Grizzlies, and the 20th Century Club bring the concerts to the community free of charge. Of course the concerts would not be possible without the support of the Collierville community, Town of Collierville, Parks and Recreation, Public Works and the Collierville Police Department.
