Hunk-a-Hunk of Tasty Food
Are you in the mood for fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches? Okay…maybe not that…but how about samplings from 25 area restaurants? The 15th Annual Partners in Preservation Party & Taste of the Town, themed “All Shook Up on the Square” to celebrate the King himself…Elvis, is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Collierville’s Historic Town Square. Sponsored by SunTrust Bank, AIMS Logistics, Patriot Bank, The Memphis Grizzlies, Renasant Bank, American National, Graceland, Farmers Promotions, Zolo Wines, and Pepsi Americans along with the Town of Collierville, this major fundraiser assists Main Street Collierville in hosting many of the events held on the Square each year such as the Sunset on the Square Summer Concert Series, Out to Lunch, and Christmas in Collierville.
Over 20 area restaurants will be serving their specialties as part of the “Taste of the Town” gourmet event. Guests can enjoy strolling Hound Dog Alley, Love Me Tender Lane, Don’t Be Cruel Cove, Return to Sender Street, and Jailhouse Rock Road sampling a variety of foods from the following: Anne’s Bakery & Cafe, Back Yard Burgers, Bangkok Alley, Blue Coast Burrito, Bol a’ Pasta, Bonefish Grill, Booyas Burritos, Cafe Piazza, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Chick-fil-A, Corky’s BBQ, Crepe Maker, Fino Villa, Firebirds Restaurant, The Half Shell, Huey’s, Jim’s Place Grille, Kufe’, La Hacienda, Maggie Moo’s, Memphis Pizza Cafe, Off the Grill, Outback Steakhouse, Su Casa, The Tennessean and Costco. You may never look the same in your jumpsuits!
Tickets to “All Shook Up on the Square” are available at the Main Street Collierville office located at 125 N. Rowlett Street in the Historic Train Depot.
